Evening. Sounds like things are going just marvelous :) Congrats on the job! If this is your first, I'm really glad you were able to bypass the curse of retail/fast food. Many of us were not so lucky (shudder,) though I'll admit it did wonders to get me out of my shell, being forced to interact with strangers and all. If you can believe it, the interaction became my favorite part. I used to get in trouble for letting customers linger for too long. What can I say? Everybody has such interesting stories to tell. Speaking of — I wonder, do you publish writing anywhere? Fanfiction, original works, anything of the sort? You should consider it if not, creative as you are! I'd love to see how your particular way of speaking would flow in a story. Side note because I couldn't find anywhere else to fit it in — your birthday is exactly a week before mine. What are the odds?

Hello! Thank you! It is my first job indeed. I’ve heard my fair share of retail horror stories from friends and family alike. As much as I am relieved, I am a bit guilty to be missing out on such universal awkward experiences, in an odd way. That being said, getting any kind of work was my path to putting myself out there at all, so I’m still excited to make connections. I’m sure I’ll learn all about my own little team. The work is menial, so small talk is bound to blossom similarly. As for my writing, I’m flattered that you’re interested! I believe I had mentioned before I am a little shy about my prose… but I do write! It’s very spontaneous, though. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything proper to show for it recently. I think if I ever do hack something up, this website would likely be the first to see it. No harm in keeping an eye out. I also think my diary has been a worthy writing exercise in its own right. Having something specific to tend to, I can see myself getting into the flow of writing much easier now. Your own interest means a great deal to me, too. I’ll definitely be keeping it in mind. <3 On the topic of birthdays, how fun! Both of our birthdays are on the horizon. I hope you’ll be having a good one! Something funny — October is quite the packed month for my family and I. With my own birthday coming first, my close cousin’s birthday a week after that, my mom’s a week after hers, and remarkably, my sister’s birthday is the day after my mom’s. Needless to say, it gets busy. I can’t complain, I enjoy festivities. Thank you endlessly for your time again! I hope you’ve been well.

Hello! A small update. My schedule hasn't allowed me to get very far into Evangelion, but already I'm understanding why so many people (or, at least, every fan I've come across,) seem to have dedicated their lives to singing its praises. It really is that good, isn't it? Cheers for indirectly pushing me to expand my horizons. On another note, I hope you get the closure you're after! As you put it, there's nothing to lose. Who knows? Perhaps you'll even be pleasantly surprised. And since I'd forgotten to say it before — lovely work on the new homepage. It has so much personality. I can't wait to see what you'll add next!

Hi there! I'm so glad to hear you've been enjoying Evangelion!!! If it's out of your usual range, perhaps you can eventually delve into some adjacent works too. Evangelion definitely exposed me to depths of my tastes I wasn't previously aware of; heck, I wasn't much of an anime person at all before checking it out. Funny story—I was actually shot a message by the very person I had mentioned in my reply, mere minutes after sending it, no less. We were able to reconcile and things have been rather swell. It's funny how life throws you curveballs, good and bad. A pleasant surprise indeed! Thank you as always for the good wishes and appreciation, and for the follow-up message. Much love!

Hey, I'm crazy about your site. It looks fantastic (admittedly, I'm also kind of an Evangelion nut, though...) and your domain name made me smile. Moe.

Hi Me Again. Hooray! Diary!!! It's like Christmas!!!!! I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time. Reminiscing is a blessing and a curse. Sometimes we teeter the line between learning from our past and being stuck in it. Actually, I recently rekindled with an old buddy whom I'd fallen out with. It was healing. Having my growth recognized was incredibly affirming. I'd been so scared to reach out on the chance that my apologies would prove useless, or worse, annoying. I didn't end up needing to. They came to me, and it made me realize that all this guilt I've been carrying has been needless. The door is closed, never locked. Just open it. Apologies for the rambling. My presence online is largely nil. I prefer to be anonymous; this is my way of putting myself out there. Bit of a 180 but I have a sin to confess. I've never watched Evangelion. I too have a list of media that I ignore to instead rewatch the same 5 shows. I think I'll give it a chance in tribute to you. Good luck with the job hunt!

Hi!! It’s such a pleasure to see you again. I have to agree with you. I’m someone that prefers to stay in the present. It’s easy to start ruminating on what we, or someone else, could have done differently. At a certain point it does far more damage than healing, and we end up sinking into ourselves. Well, that doesn't get us anywhere. I’m happy to hear you managed to tie up some loose ends! I’m definitely one for closure. I think that’s why I feel so odd. I had something adjacent to a falling out, and where I’m at, I feel like many things have been left unspoken and misconstrued. Your anecdote is deeply reassuring and good food for thought; you never know what someone might be thinking. There’s nothing to lose in reaching out. Time heals all, and the only path is forward. I recently heard of a study regarding something called the Zeigarnik effect. Us humans tend to remember work we’ve left unfinished far longer than what is naturally completed. I have to wonder, to what extent does that apply to our relationships? Anyhow, please don’t worry about rambling! I’m so delighted to see messages of this caliber. It’s refreshing. In fact, I was wondering about you while fixing up my diary page. To my dismay, we’re often discouraged from giving things more than a few seconds of our time these days. If you do watch Evangelion, I’d love to hear what you think of it. At risk of sounding like a nerd, I have to say from what I know you might enjoy some of its motifs. Thank you again for stopping by!!! And thank you for the good wishes. I wish you the best for anything going on in your own life, too.

Welcome back! You've been missed. Very beautiful layout as always. Very excited for your blog to be back up and running. You're a captivating person and I love to look inside your brain. For the sake of anonymity I'll be vague, but I relate to you a terrifying amount. Your Kaworu shrine really struck a chord with me. I keep rereading it. We're cut from the same cloth, except you're much cooler than me, which is only slightly upsetting. Nevertheless. Please continue to create.
